I’ve tried a number of beard balms and beard oils. They were either too oily, difficult to apply, or had an overwhelming scent.
I was about to blindly choose Honest Amish because it appeared on the first page of my search results before stumbling on to this little gem: Better Man Beard Balm. I took a chance with it, and I’m glad I did.
I was attracted to the all-natural, quality ingredients they use as part of my initial purchase, but I’ll admit, many of the beard balms use this as their marketing hook. The real differentiation with the product is how easily it distributes through my whiskers to give me that “put together” look without fuss or that excessive oily feel on my face.
The real proof in the pudding was when I dropped off a package at a UPS store, and the young lady asked me what fragrance I was wearing. I was a little caught off guard—which she must have noticed—because she said, “I normally don’t ask, but it smells wonderful”. It was the Better Man Beard Balm I was wearing! Needless to say, I placed another order. I found my brand of beard balm with Better Man.
I've never been a beard product guy and heard about this through my barber. I thought I give it a try based on the recommendation. My girlfriend went from hating my beard to at least tolerating it...probably due to the pleasant lavender and rosemary scent and she's a hippy and likes that it uses all natural ingredients. My beard is longer than average and can be a bit unruly. I'm in a professional career and have received many "you're beard is looking good" comments since starting to use this product. My Better Man Beard Balm arrived in time for Valentine's Day. Which was great because I had a hot date with a hot Valentine and I wanted my beard to look and smell fantastic.

Do you like having a beard? Me too!!! Do it better with Better Man Beard Balm. It’s not too shiny, which is something I don’t like about a lot of beard products. This isn’t Twilight, I don’t want to look like a sparkly Vampire. I have a girlfriend, I don’t want to look like I just got out of a Strip Club and have baby oil on my face. This is the third beard balm I have tried. The first two helped with dry skin and brought scruffiness under control, but my wife and daughter objected (strongly to the second - my daughter held her nose) to the scent of both. Since I kiss my daughter's cheek at bedtime, and kissing my wife is sort of a thing with me, this was an issue.
Lavender is a favorite scent at my household, and rosemary a favorite of mine, so I thought I'd try this.
I'm happy to report that besides performing the standard beard balm duties of relieving itchiness and helping shape the beard, the scent is mild and pleasant, and welcomed by both my wife and daughter. So satisfaction all around.
Got this for my husband to help with his beard. So far it has first off #1 made it softer #2 made it smell better # 3 made the skin around and under it not as itchy as it was before. we will for sure keep on buying this!! Thanks better man beard balm!
Better Man is the best! I've tried several other products. Most products look great at first but the benefits wear off quickly - back to looking dry and dull after a few hours. Better Man is the first one to keep my beard looking and feeling great all day.
Better Man has the right balance of keeping the hold yet leaving my beard soft to the touch. Also it is not oily like most other products. Just feels better for my skin. Plus the stuff smells fantastic - my wife loves it. The scent is great but not overpowering. Highly recommended!
Best beard product i have ever used, and I have a beard for the better part of 35 years on and off. This product works and we'll worth the price. I'd give it ten stars if possible, but for sure a solid 5. Will refurbish again and will try the other products that they offer.To all the guys with beards, you won't be sorry when you try the beard balm.
