I ordered the AOS soap in the Rise scent. I’m always hesitant to order soaps, etc. without being able to smell them first, but no worries here- It smells heavenly! Even better, the company does not use harsh ingredients, so it’s safe to use for the whole family! The value is also fantastic for the price, considering there’s two bars per box. Very happy customer!
I decided to try this soap because it had good reviews and I was looking for something with tea tree oil, and it definitely lives up to the hype. I usually don't like using bar soap because it leaves a weird soapy film, but this one doesn't leave any residue on my skin. I work at a gym so I worry that I smell like sweat from being around it all day, but people have told me that I smell nice even after an 8 hour shift, so I know that the fragrance sticks around. I have really sensitive, dry skin so I like that the package very clearly states what is and is not in the soap so I don't have to do a ton of research. It says in the description that it's for men but I bought it anyway and it's definitely unisex so it works for women too.
I thought the Compete fragrance was good. The Rise version is even better. I really like this soap, genuinely do. I rarely use soap bars. But this is slightly different. It almost feels like one of those high end soap bars that you buy from specialist stores (around $25-50) but for the price of a regular bottle of shower gel instead. I've only used this once so far (used it as soon as it arrived!) but look forward to using it more going forward and hopefully saving money on my old shower gel bottles.
This soap is the best! Normally bar soap leaves my skin feeling sticky but AOS leaves my skin feeling silky soft and clean! The scent is amazing and stays all day long (even after a workout) without being too overpowering. The best part is the soap is mild enough for my sensitive skin and it doesn't contain any harsh or toxic ingredients! I will definitely be recommending this product to all my friends, and will not be going back to my old brand of soap!
I absolutely LOVE this product! The “Rise” scent is my favorite and leaves me smelling amazing for hours after I shower. My skin, which is typically dry, feels so much softer because the soap is extremely moisturizing. I was hesitant about the charcoal in the soap because I have never used it before but am a huge fan. Will definitely buy this product again!

I thought the fragrance was great and the soap worked fine, but I don’t know that it moistures significantly better than the Dove for Men I had been using previously. One thing I will say is that the skin around my ankles didn’t dry out while I was using this soap and that’s usually a dry spot for me during the winter.
I thought the activated charcoal was a cool idea and it may have brought something to the party but if so, it didn’t jump out at me. The bars are a little smaller than the Dove soap bars, but not abnormally small. So I am finishing off my current stock of the Dove and then I will probably reorder these. But it’s not like they were so outstanding that I would throw out the other soap bars I had in my cabinet.
Again, the scent is a 10, and it wasn’t overpowering to me or even super noticeable after a few hours or once I had used a little body spray after showering.
I usually don't spend above grocery store prices on men's toiletries. I decided to give AOS a try after purchasing some as a stocking stuffer for my college-aged son. The quality, smell, and price point hit all the right targets. It "behaves" like very high-end products but is affordable to the point of being able to purchase at will; not just as a gift or special occasion.
One thing I've sort of avoided as an adult is washing my face and it's because I don't trust many of the current products on the market as they may have chemicals that can be harmful in the long run. I gravitated to Art of Sport because of the organic ingredients and because it's meant for athletes (I consider myself an athlete, my friends and girlfriend do not). I was never a big bar soap fan (shoutout Art of Sport's hair and body wash) but I took a chance and I really like the results I've gotten here. I wash my face almost everyday because it's a product that's health, keeps me clean and smelling fresh. I definitely recommend getting every art of sport product and changing your hygiene game.
Received this as a Christmas gift. The first thing I noticed immediately was the scent. It wasn't too strong but was a nice manly, invigorating smell. I used it the next day in the shower. Lathers very nicely and the scent lasts long. After the shower, my skin did not feel dry, as with other soaps. Very pleased with it, as well as the wife.
The AOS art of sport soaps came packaged pretty well the two pack was shrink wrapped togethere and came in individual boxes with what they use and what they dont use. Also it came with directions. On the front of the box there was the brand name and the scent and some of the more prominent ingredients the soap bar is made with, and what it suppose to do like intense moisturizing, deep cleaning and long lasting freshness. The bar it self is a dark to medium gray color, because of the activated charcoal it has. It also has tea tree oil and shea butter. It smells clean but the sent doesn't last all day but It does last a while like an hour or two. The soap is good over all I will buy another scent next time to see. how the other scents perform.
*Update: It is a good bar of soap would like the scent to last abit longer but good over all. The bar doesn't last as I thought but it is good it's two of them the suds start decreasing close to the end of the bar covers really well with smoothness and hydration
