My surgeon recommended rubbing vitamin E oil into my incision once the Steri Strips fell off. My dermatologist also recommended vitamin E oil for a spot on my face where some blood vessels close to the surface were cauterized. this stuff is my holy grail!!!! I get those cystic pimples where you pop them and the skin peels around them making your face 100x worse than it already did. from what i read online, there's no concrete evidence that vitamin e oil fades acne scars. i bought this because it had 82% / 5 star reviews for the product, so it mustve been the real deal. only been using it for 6 days and this is what ive noticed:
1) smooth and clear skin--all my tiny small acne bumps+large ones are gone. i had light acne before using this
2) dark acne spots (from like a red hue) are now a light pink
3) face looks like it went from mild-acne scars to light acne scars
4) i actually look pretty damn good now knowing that i dont look like freddy krueger.
i would imagine in another 24 days of continuous use (30 days) that my scars would face at least >50%. i will be posting pictures then. this stuff definitely works though.
i do not use the recommended 1 drop of oil for the entire face though. this is how i apply it (6 drops)
1) drop to the forehead
2) drop to each cheek x2
3) drop to the nose
4) drop to the upper lip
5) drop to the chin area
so i use a total of 6 drops and rub the oil in every night.
CONCLUSION:
i would imagine that vitamin e oil only works on specific individuals better than others because it hasnt been 100% proven to reduce acne scars. i guess i am just one of the lucky ones where it really works well.

AMAZING. I will continue to purchase this product for myself and for my kids. I initially researched and decided on this product because my son was scratched pretty badly on his face at daycare. Really deep and visible scar on his cheek. I did some research and found that this was the only vitamin E oil that did not contain any synthetic compounds. We've been using it for 4 months daily/2x (with some missed days here and there) with great results. I even slap this stuff on scraped up knees or elbows and literally the next day the scrapes have healed over.
This is an excellent product. I have been using it on my face and the back of my hands for a few days now and have already observed a difference. I wiped out and tore up my elbow, and immediately ordered some Vit E oil for the really bad scab I was forming. I used it throughout the healing process, and I'm still using it now that the scabbing is gone.
