These are pretty amazing hair clippers for the price! My son cuts his own hair and I even up the back for him, he had gone to cut his hair a week ago and is old faithful clippers had just stopped working and made a dreadful buzzing noise. My husband had looked at Walmart and the cheapest pair was between $30-40 and I said hold up - let me check on Amazon, I am sure they have better deals than that on there! I got to looking and was pretty amazed at the price range! Seriously - he just buzz cuts his hair! These work great for his purpose and what a deal!!!

I recently cut all of my hair off into a pixie. A very, very short pixie. It ran me about $70 with my fancy stylist and I did this twice before breaking down and heading to the Cost Cutters or whatever was closest. Then I got tired of shelling out $20 every 2-3 weeks (who knew my hair grew that fast?!). I watched a million YouTube videos and was confident that I could do this myself. After looking around quite a bit I decided to make a purchase. I needed something that wasn't so expensive that it would turn into a waste if I decided that I could not, in fact, cut my own hair. And I wanted something that was capable of doing a good job. I decided on the Custom Cut and it is absolutely perfect! I've been using it for about 2 months, 4 haircuts in and I am hooked. Best $20 I've spent in a long time!
In regards to the negative reviews; PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING. Seriously, it says this on the first page and you REALLY NEED TO READ THEM ALL. Especially if you've never used a clippers before and/or you want these to work properly on your hair. I am astounded by the amount of money I am not spending on my hair. This is outside of the time that I no longer spend doing my hair. But, I digress. If you want a serviceable set of clippers with a completely satisfactory set of guides, you would do well to purchase this set. It comes with a case that holds the clippers and all of the guides with the special oil and brush that it comes with.
**Make sure that the outlet you're using can handle the voltage. I blew a fuse in my bathroom, but then I just used a surge protector strip from another outlet. It's fine, and was not a big deal at all.
It's case is perfect for storing, whenever that happens. So far this clipped my sister's dog, the hubs head and beard and cleaned up his moustache. I used it on my legs and it was WAY more effective then a razor. I don't fully understand the mechanics but it only go too hot to use once and that's because I left it clipping while I changed positions instead of turning it off. It's quiet, comes with more than what you'll ever use in guards and the little cape they provide is surprisingly robust for several uses. At first it looked like a thin black trash bag but has stood up to the hubs 4 times so far.
These are the standard barber clippers that save us money. Conair has an adjustable clipper that is easy to use and maintain for near professional results. Pays for itself each time you use it.
It's not the most amazing clipper I've ever used, but it does a really good job and it has held up for a few months with regular haircuts on three boys. I don't expect it will last for years or anything, but at least a couple. The ear tools are typical of a clipper like this, and I generally end up doing them by hand. I would recommend this, we've already saved twice what we paid for it in haircuts.

I am not a trained barber, but my husband had really been itching for me to start cutting his hair with love at home. This little device exceeded my expectations. Everything you need to get started is included is in this kit except for a straight razor. Easy to use, instructions are extremely clear, even including a few tips on how to cut hair properly.
This has been great for us! We have used it 4-5 times on my sons hair.

-The cord is long enough for where we use it
-The case it all comes in is great because we can actually fit everything back in once it's taken out for the first time
- it's not too loud that it scares my toddler

It’s been 2 years now and it still works and works well. We use it every couple months on both our boys and have no complaints.
This little clipper set worked well for the price. It did require a weird adjustment per the instructions that I don't fully understand but they seem to be working just fine. It comes with everything you would need for a basic haircut (although the comb and scissors are basically useless). This set is a bit light and not super high quality but I imagine it'll last for at least a year or more till I can afford more professional equipment.
The one I received was red, but I like it better than the blue. It works great, strong and doesn't bog down on thick curly hair!
Works as well as any of the expensive ones I have bought. I'm definitely buying another pair!
