I love this Shea butter! I use it in my lip balm, conditioner & anything else I can. It came in a very generous size & the price was not bad at all especially for the many uses you can use it for. I will definitely come back!!

This is a really fantastic price for such a huge amount of shea butter! I usually purchase smaller jars so I'm really glad I came across this. It's a similar quality to other brands I've bought on Amazon, but I think this is a better deal.

Description
Made from the same Karite nut (Butyrospermum parkii). It is processed similarly, but the root of the Borututu Tree (Cochlospermum angolense) is added during the milling process. The root is responsible for the bright yellow color. Borututu is a medicinal plant from Africa.
Although both yellow & ivory shea butter come from the same source, the yellow variety is slightly more firm & takes a little longer to absorb into the skin. The smell is very similar to ivory shea butter, a slightly sweet & nutty scent. The two butters are more or less the same. Some people say that yellow is better for skin conditions like eczema & psoriasis, because it stays on the skin longer. Our preference is for ivory, due to it's softer texture & neutral color. You cant go wrong either way, try both out for yourself & see which one you like better!

Used this product to make lotion bars and lip balm--loved the texture and consistency! Will definitely be using in other DIY projects.
Hard to get out of jar at room temperature, super solid but it is perfect to make bath melts, your own coco butter, or add a scoop to the bath for super soft skin.

Love this stuff! It was the only thing that really moisturized my face when I was having some sort of reaction. Helped relieve the dry, itchy redness.
We used this to make moisturizing body butters and lip balms at a spa day for 20 girls scouts - and still have half a jar left - super thick though - hard to scoop out - but perfect once slightly melted
