The Thicket balm literally smells like a pine tree. which is totally fine if you're into that. I'm not really into the super strong pine smell but I won't give it a bad rating based on the scent. Overall the product works.
I was born and raised in Deep East Texas which is also known as the Piney Woods of Texas. I spent many of years walking the Big Thicket as a young man exploring the wilderness. This balm captures unique smells of the forest that bring back memories. It reminds me of fresh timber being cut, it has the pine scent with very mild earthy undertones. I bought the balm and oil and use it regular. I have used other balms and oils and this product is my favorite.

It will help keep your hair healthy, strong, and manageable.In addition to oils we blend in naturally deodorized Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, and Coconut oil. We use naturally deodorized butters because you don't want your balm to smell like chocolate!Unlike other balms on the market, our balm is not thick and hard like a wax. Our balm is whipped which gives it a smooth creamy consistency, in between margarine and meringue.This is much more labor intensive and time consuming, but it's worth it to have a better product.
Best beard balm I've tried, have used Viking Smooth and Rocky Mountain Barber Co. products (that I still like a lot). Only criticism is that it takes far more time and patience to melt it in your hands before applying. Decent pine scent, but not what I was led to believe. Nice amount, 2.4oz is about 20% more than most other balms that come in a 2oz package. I'll buy it again.
