Vakker Hair Wax Color Styling Cream Mud, Natural Hairstyle Dye Pomade, Party Cosplay, Green

Vakker Hair Wax Color Styling Cream Mud, Natural Hairstyle Dye Pomade, Party Cosplay, Green

I was skeptical, but this does pretty much what you expect it to based on other reviews/descriptions/photos. I got this because the Eagles are in the Super Bowl and I want to have some green in my hair one day but be able to wash it out for work the next day. I got it today and tried it out on a small piece of hair so I would know what to expect before doing more on Bowl day. Some people say it gets sticky/tacky and it does. But when you’re done, if you’re patient and take your time brushing it out, the texture will soften and be almost completely back to the way your hair normally feels. I wasn’t noticing a lot of color transfer from my fingers to hair when I first started, so I used a little more product and kept going over the area until I started seeing enough color. It does seem to show up better on the lighter part of my hair. But that’s also where I was concentrating on getting most of the color. It looks to be the same color on my hair as in the jar, and it washed off my hands and hairbrush no problem. Hope this helps anyone considering buying it, and good luck!

I love love love this!! I have bought so many colors. Doesn’t bleed onto pillows at night if you fall asleep. The kids love it too. Change hair color without having harsh chemicals. Washes right out and no staining to hands! I have dark brown hair and it covers the natural color and can see color great! I like to mix too!

As someone with rather dark hair and as a weirdo that wished to simply make an odd curl to the right of my bangs blue-this hair mud does the job. I was a touch worried it would hardly show up in my hair, but that's the beauty of hair mud. There's no need to damage and bleach parts of your hair, it washes right out with soap and water too.

The mud can be a tad stubborn on skin, but washed off in about a minute. It dries in your hair and can make it rather stiff if you use a thick coating, but once it dries it doesn't leave color all over your face or skin and you can freely touch and adjust your hair without worry of mess. (Or just be a dork like me and play with your hair.)

My curl is actually supposed to be more loose and not a pipe curl, but I used the mud before I put the curler in (not a heated hair curler, mind you, I'm not sure what that would do) and as I said-it dries stiff so my curl kept its shape all day until I took a shower and even awhile after. This is where I explain how I know it was the mud itself and not my hair as I must explain:

The smell. It isn't unpleasant, but it is akin to cologne. Not strong and overwhelming like Axe, but quite similar. It didn't particularly bother me and I'm glad it wasn't a yucky chemical smell, but that scent will linger. If you're a dude who's cool with a fully or mostly colored hair do that smells like cologne, then I'd imagine this would be perfect for you. If you're a chick like me, then be mindful that if the dyed part of your hair is in your face, you'll probably catch whiffs of it, and if you're using a lot in your hair, you'll likely have that cologne scent more. I'm fine with this though.

Overall, I'm quite pleased, and for the little bit of blue streaks I put in my curl-this jar will probably last a real long time for me. The packaging is pretty (if that matters to you) and the jar is about as big as one's palm and about three inches tall.

It's good!

(Also, the seller sent a message asking if there was any issue or dissatisfaction and if not, then to please write a review. I imagine this is automated, but I like that they do that regardless and make an effort to be caring, hence the more detailed review.)

I bought this, along with the blue, for my 11 yr old nephew. He told my sister that he wanted to dye his hair blue bc he would look awesome & girls dig it, lol. She wouldn’t let him dye it but wanted to let him experiment. I looked on Amazon & quickly found this product & thought it would be perfect. He absolutely loved it! He uses a cream or gel normally to style his hair & this worked even better for his hair style w/ the added benefit of the color. He has a lot of fun using different colors or combinations of them & it allows him to express himself with no worries of it damaging his hair or being stuck with a dye until it fades out. It washes out easily & doesn’t stain anything permanently (allow it a minute to dry though). I don’t know for sure but it seems like it would be difficult for long hair other than adding just a streak of color. I encourage anyone wanting to try out something different or add some temporary color to give it a chance. I thought it was overpriced, hence the 4 stars, but prices are now almos 50% less than I paid during Christmas. Have fun!

I like it even though it wasn't red.

It's quite goopy but worked well to color my playoff beard. We lost, so I shaved it all off about 6 hours after applying it. Under it all my skin was bright blue but it washed right off with no tint or staining. Good product for sure and I'm happier with it's performance than I was my team.

I liked this! As a 4C Natural girl, I was afraid it would ruin my twist-out but it actually made it better. My hair is so disrespectful sometimes! My twist-outs, braid-outs, bantu knot-out.... whatever-outs dont always come out looking how I intend it to look. But using this wax helped.
So it has a firm hold. I would say like JAM but not as strong as edge control. So in between. I put it in my hair waaaaaaaay before I fell asleep. I was afraid it would ruin my pillow. I loved how this purple just blended with my black (1B (color)) hair! Even hours later my hair was just a tad bit wet and when I touched it I did get some of it on my hands. But it wasn't like purple purple. More like a lavender.
Woke up the next day, no purple stuff on my bed set. THANK GOD! I did notice that the color had gotten a bit dull. Almost like my hair absorbed the purple hue. So before I took my hair down I put on my clothes and then put more wax on as I untwist my hair.
It still dulled out. But that's fine. I cant have extreme crazy colorful hair at work so a few people noticed after a double take. I got a bunch of compliments.

The picture of my hair was the day before when I was doing the twist out. I wish I had one after but you couldn't tell from selfie mode that I had color in my hair.

I'm a guy with short blond hair. I wanted something I could put in for a night, but be back to normal before I had to go into the office the next morning, as they don't allow hair coloring. This stuff is perfect for me. It washed out with a normal shampoo and didn't stain my hair at all. I've so far tried the red and the green. The red was a bit more of a pink, but I didn't mind. It is a hair wax, so it is meant for styling, and isn't meant to move once you set it. I found combing it in seemed to work best.

I applied this using my hands and it is easy to wash off. It doesn't stain and once it is dried, it won't run on your clothing. I am not certain about what will happen if it rains as I don't know of anyone who just stands in the rain. If your kid wants to try this, I say let them. It is not a hassle. We re-apply every 2 days or so, I spray water on her puffs to soften them a bit as they tend to get dry once the product has been left on, then we just re-apply a fresh coat and it looks great. Oh, it smells great.

I absolutely love this product, it goes in easy, comes out easy and washes off of hands and clothes. I use it mostly in the evenings and weekends because i'm a physicist and apparently the color of the hair on my head affects the knowledge in my brain. I'm not allowed to have colored hair at work so i needed something that washes out easily. I usually apply it when my hair is mostly dry but still a little damp (i have curly blonde hair for reference) and then i brush it immediately after application and continue to brush it as it's drying and i get pretty good results. The continuous brushing helps blend it
