I don't know about the coconut oil in this, but the pick is bomb! I love it!
I have extremely curly hair that I am growing out. Needless to say, I need volume in places I never did when it was a cute bob. This picks digs under the pretty top curls to frizz out the ones underneath, giving me just the right body so I don't end up with triangle-head. The pick is durable, smooth and doesn't hurt my hair at all. It's a normal pick size, so not terribly small, but I throw it in my handbag all the time to ensure I have a mid-day hair pickup if needed.
I can’t believe I went so long without this pick. Now, I usually don’t pick my hair out into an afro, but when I do it’s great. It’s so smooth and frictionless. Nothing like other picks. I would recommend all cricket combs.
I love this pic it glides smoothly through my hair, I had a regular plastic pic and believe me there is a difference.
I actually bought this because it's white and I wanted a pick that doesn't look gross when a little bit of white mousse accumulates on it. The pick does seem to go smoothly through my thick curls. I'm happy with it.

works very well on my natural curly hair! not everything does.
Love this pick. Not sure if the Coconut actually helped with tangles but it's still a great pick.
