I just got this clipper yesterday. This morning I used a 3 3/4 clipper blade over my whole head. It took about 5min. I had my wife clean up the hair on my neck.
I decided to do this after years of haircuts that didn't look quite right, and were different each time I went, even though my haircut style was recorded and printed for the hairstylist. (#3 on sides, scissor cut to about a #5 on top) It would look ok for a few weeks then the top would be too long. Last time I went, I asked to bring the top down to a #4 to make it last longer between cuts. This resulted in there not being much difference at all between the sides and top. So I got this, and the 3 3/4 blade. It came out about the same. Cost me nothing (the clipper will pay for itself in a year, and I can have as many haircuts as I want without ever waiting or paying for them). Why did I not do this 20 years ago? I will never pay or wait for another haircut again.
A few points I have read about, that I disagree with:
1. It's not loud at all. I have been in places with loud clippers. These are not loud at all, and with maintenance, I expect they will stay that way.
2. It does not get hot. It will get warm after 5-10min, but the blade (mine is the longest they make stays cool against your skin. The housing gets warm. No big deal.
3. It's not heavy at all. It's probably bigger and heavier than a lot of other clippers, but it's not the heavy industrial power tool I was lead to believe it was from some reviews. The cord is long and it's very easy to hold and use.
I ordered a 3 1/2 blade along with it, to make the sides slightly shorter than the top, but I honestly think I may return it, since the sides lay down and look shorter than the top naturally anyway. No worries about blending the top and sides using only 1 blade, and I can do it myself in 5 min before showering in the morning. Takes me about the same time to shave. My life just got a lot better.
My 1st time buying and using a commercial/professional grade hair clippers. All I can say....
"You get what you pay for!" Having owned several over the counter clipper sets.... I was lucky to get a close cut,
much less 2 years out of them. These clippers make all the difference in the world. The interchangeable blades is an awesome feature, and since I shave my head, the 000 cut length blade is all that and a box of cracker jacks!
Best clipper ever. If you know what you're doing and want to cut hair fast, this is it. Been using these for a long time and it helps with the 2 speeds to get through certain hair types. Just be sure to keep them oiled regularly and taken apart, cleaned, and greased a few times a year. I'll never use anything else because it keeps up with the busy barbershop customers day in and day out. I do recommend getting the vacuum attachment for them and running a vacuum off of them. Keeps blades cool and hair off customers and they love that knowing they can get back to their day without hair all over them.
I've been cutting my own hair for 25 years now. I can't believe the difference and quality the Titan is compared to others I've used (Wahl, et al). The cutting edge is phenomenal and leaves my buzzed hair cut soft, not "spiky". The Titan is super quiet and heavy (easier to maneuver and detail with). If you're hesitating, don't. This is THE clipper to have. Absolute quality.
Works great. I had the classic 76 before this one. They preform the same except the 2 speed on the Titan. I don't really use this feature. The high speed is the same as the classic's 1 speed. The only benefit on the lower speed is so that I can do detail for a longer period of time without the clipper getting too hot in my hands.

Description
Oster the powerful titan clipper.
Been a hair designer for over 20 years and have had a pair of crew masters that were Titans they don’t make the crew masters any more so was looking for new pair for work so I can leave old
Ones at home they still work and have only been serviced a couple of times so hoping these continue to be as reliable as my last ones.
Hands down best clippers I’ve ever owned. If you go bald you need the 00000 blade.
Amazing clippers. In the past had to make a few passes and these will take any hair thrown at it as long as you take care of them
I've been cutting my own hair for about two years now. Previously i had the Oster fast feeds. Those were great because they had the taper lever, however after continued use (and dropping them once), the blade was beginning to catch on longer hair.
I am in the military and require regular haircuts about every two weeks. These clippers are sturdy and feel like they're built to last, much more so than the fast feed clippers. Also, the removable blade system is incredibly handy, and especially so as I begin to buy more blades over time. For now i am still using the spring backed guards that i used with my fast feed, which are great. Despite not having the taper lever, putting the 0 guard on serves the purpose of reaching half lengths.
Worth the price, and from other reviews, they're a bit lighter than the classic 76s.
Cuts well but will get pretty hot even after a fresh grease treatment on motor and parts.
