My husband out of the blue decided to grow a full beard. Before this oil, he used real shea butter and I found that it was too thick which just created a yucky, greasy buildup. No bueno!! (Now that I think of it, perhaps he shouldve wet his beard and then apply the shea butter ah well) His beard also tended to be very rough and scratched my face. After several times using this beard oil I can see a major difference in his beard. For one, its more moisturized instead of dry (he also has psoriasis and the oil has helped dramatically in moisturizing that area). Also his beard just looks more groomed. I really don't know how many times per week he uses it- but when he does I can tell! This is coming from someone who does not like long beards at all. Also since the beard is softer, its not scratching up my face. In all, the product looks like it will last a long time. I might even try to find a use of it for myself.

I've been growing a beard every winter for about 15 years now and this is the first time I've tried any beard grooming products. The smell is very light. I think it has a subtle citrus scent while it makes my wife think of tea tree oil. Either way, it smells crisp and clean and doesn't linger for too long.
As a gentleman with a very thick, coarse, and long beard, I need to use beard oils/balms/combs/brushes/etc and I like experimenting with different brands. I like that this was much cheaper than most. It's a light oil which means you will need to use a few more drops than some of the heavy duty oils. It's effective at keeping a nice gleam to the beard. I thought this would smell more like lavender based on the description but, after application, it has a lemon-pie mixed with citronella bug repellent odor. I say this in a positive way because it also has a good earthy-tone to the smell so it's pleasant enough and not off-putting. If you prefer oils that contain a variety of different oils in the mix, for that reason, you can't go wrong.

Love all of the wonderful oils they've combined in one bottle. This beard oil revives my hair (on my head) ... a small amount adds lots of shine & luster & seems to un-do any damage without making my hair oily. (see pic) Its great for the skin also! Love it!

I've been using this beard oil for three years. I try new oils here and there, but this remains my go-to. I have fairly dry skin and this oil, used in combination with Cremo Beard & Scruff Cream (beard oil before drying, cream after), has kept beard dander at bay. It smells nice without approaching being overbearing (subjective, for sure), but it's definitely more subtly scented than some that I've tried. I also appreciate that the branding doesn't feel the need to prove its "manly" credentials.
