I have used these for 30 years. Can hardly find them anymore. Now at 70 yrs old, friends and even strangers ask me how I keep such beautiful, smooth and glowing skin. I tell them I exfoliate with a Buf Puf and Dove soap. Daily when I was younger, now 3x per week. If you have sensitive skin purchase the softer version.
This takes off dead skin that soap, water and a washcloth will not. Hard to find in stores and much more expensive than at Amazon.
I'm a 57 year old male and a friend of mine who is a skin specialist marvels at how good my skin looks and feels. I've been using this item to get dirt and oil off my face for about 20 years and feel my skin has benefited from these pads. Nobody makes anything close to it and it blows away any loofah's etc.
Top quality pads by 3M. Good for scrubbing to prevent acne. Don't rub too long or hard or you will over exfoliate (rub away too much of top layer of skin) and have red areas. They are expensive and you have to buy a box of six, but cheaper than buying at local stores, if you can find them (I could not find 3M Buf Puf at CVS, Walgreen nor Wal Mart). I expected better price for buying six-pack box so I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5. Usual good Amazon service, delivery in 7 or 8 days.
These work great when you want to keep your skin smooth. I've used these daily for years.

Finally found these after much searching! My face would not be clear if it wasn’t for these. I NEED the roughness to scrub away my dead skin and get into the pores. These are great if you have blackheads.
I use these buf pufs as part of my beauty regiment when I wash my face. I suggest a mild cleanser since the pufs can be pretty rigorous (like, don't use these with a scrub). I also find these very helpful with combating ingrown hairs. I was satisfied with this transaction and continue to purchase from this seller when available.
