I love that this item came with a power cord attached to the peanut. I didn't want to have to solely rely on batteries to use it but I do wish their was an option to detach the power cord and rely on batteries for a moment to more easily get around my 2 yr olds ears. That would have been super convenient. I had to choose between this one and another I saw that was solely battery operated. I had to go this one, if it had both options, it would be perfect. If that isn't a concern for you, this item is perfect. I use them to cut both my son's hair and my husband's. Super sharp and don't get hot when you use them.
It's not like we buy these things with any regularity so I was cautious about committing to a professional unit. I got more than expected. Great speed and NO overheating or biting. The little unit is great for mustache, beard, and I'm sure, all other applications. Cords are plenty long enough. A good deal.
I use the peanut to trim my face really close (it is a very close shave) and the adjustable blade on the Designer to shape up and trim my mustache / chin thing I've got going on. If I ever need to buy another set of clipper, it will be this exact combo from Wahl. I thought I'd never find decent trimmers. I finally have. Great price for two exceptional products.
Great little duo.... both do a great job with haircare and beard / mustache trimming. Being of professional grade at an amateur price, it makes fast work of the monthly duty of my hubby's hair cut and bi-monthly beard trims. We expect to get many years out of this well made product. BTW, it is designed to be fully serviceable, keeping the maintenance to a minimum. We highly recommend this product.
I've been in the beauty industry for over twenty years. I prefer the Oster brand Clippers. However I will use the Wahl brand from time to time because they are also a great brand. This set is a great deal for a beginner stylist to have.

Awesome. Works well. Built to last. Does not get hot. Cuts like a hot knife through butter. This was recommended by my friend who cuts hair. She said it works great and after a few uses it does. Also, the trimmer works wonders on beard/facial maintenance.
I like the peanut trimmer. It didn’t eat me like the previous trimmers I had tended to do even around my miles. The big trimmers are good quality brand new. Will clean and oil the blades on this set better than the last.
Best clippers ever. This is three steps above what you get at your major box store. I used my last one for 10 years and it still worked great. I use the clippers for trimming my facial hair and getting hair cuts.
Works great
This is our second one with in 8 years. Sons love it. And so will you. Cuts great. Bought another brand that was heavy duty. Didn't like it. So we went back to this one. It's no joke...
