I wasn't expecting much as this was offered as an "Add-on Item", but I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it smelled. I've never had geranium bourbon, rose geranium and geranium, yes, but never GB. It almost smells like it has 2 notes in it and I think you need to use less than you think as I could see it being overpowering. Plant Guru's prices are very good- so good, you sometimes wonder if the quality will be there, and I have to say that every PG product I've received has been excellent. Very happy with my purchase!
At first rosy, sharp rosy, not artificial, but sharp, then recedes into a sharp woody flower smell that is quite nice. You could use it for roses if you added honeysuckle to it, and a tiny orange, like the old English recipes, but this has that sharp note that is kind of dark plumeria, with muskiness that is just dusty and not powdery. I like it.
I've been diffusing this and it makes the house smell beautiful!! Geranium is good for skin care, and it may help soothe throat infections. It's useful in calming/relaxation blends, and it's got antiseptic and astringent properties as well. It's good for lots of things, but it smells so pretty that you'll want to use it just to make yourself happy!! I got a small bottle of this, but I'll definitely be keeping it on my re-order list. Plant Guru is on my list of favorite sellers. Great products and great deals.
I've purchased several essential oils from Plant Guru now and have been pleased with every one. The Geranium Bourbon is no exception. The scent is sweet and very much like roses, as it should be. The bottle has an orifice reducer in the opening so the drops come out one at a time, or you can remove it to withdraw a larger amount via pipette. The label also lists several uses for this oil which is convenient when I don't have my notes & books close by. Will definitely be reordering!
I had hit my shoulder on my car door and knew I probably would have a bruise.I looked up bruises in my essential oil book I had purchased from Amazon and it suggested geranium so I used this product from Plant Guru and had no bruises.I also put peppermint around the area because it was swelling up. The next day the swelling was down.

Smells amazing, but I could see how some might find it too feminine. Still, it truly does uplift -- I put it on and within a few minutes, felt relaxed and started smiling. Which is exactly what geranium is supposed to do!

Geranium is one of the best smelling oils out there for me. It has multiple therapeutic properties. I put a tiny amount of it on my temples to uplift my mood whenever I feel down or depressed. Geranium is known to increase circulation and I add a small amount of it into grape seed or almond oil to rub into my thighs to help keeping cellulite under control. Not only it's very invigorating but makes you smell real good too. I chose to buy this oil from Plant Guru not only because Geranium Bourbon oil is considered the finest type of Geranium but also because they have it available in a small .10ml bottle for the best price out there. Just a drop of this essential oil goes a long way and makes you feel and smell wonderful.
One of many purchases from Plant Guru. I use this in our hot tub as a fragrance instead of the chemical scents you can add. WE both love the fragrance. I also used this to make bath bombs as gifts this Christmas and everyone loved them. A great alternative to some of the more pricey essential oil brands and just as good. I love the products and will definitely purchase more in the future.
I'm using this as the main oil in my homemade tick repellent. It's pretty strong smelling so I'm hoping that means it's going to work. I guess time will tell.
I truly love the fragrance of this oil. It's not what I expected and it is really delicious. I recommended highly and the seller did a fine job of getting it shipped out and it arrived intact and better than I expected.
