I'd be considering buying a beard oil for a while, and decided to go with this one since it seemed inexpensive. After two weeks of using it daily, I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. As soon as you open the bottle the scent hits you, and WOW is it good. Like an old fashioned barber shop. It helps keep my beard and skin soft and healthy, and I've had zero issues with itchiness or dry skin since I began using it. Highly recommend. I'll definitely be coming back for more when my current bottle begins to run low (and perhaps I'll sample some of the other scents).
I bought this for my 20 year old son. He LOVES it! The reason I bought it is because a co-worker and friend uses it. I can't say how many mornings my sense of smell has been pleasantly assaulted while getting my morning coffee in our work kitchen. It's addictive! I just want to nuzzle up to him (my co-worker, that is...) and stay there all day. :-)
My son has been using it for about a week. I actually printed out the letter for him, about how it was developed by a bearded guy who just wanted a better product, so, created one! My son thought that was super cool. He said it smells awesome and his beard is softer and smoother. He's already addicted and has to use it every day. Two thumbs up!
I had been using just plain coconut oil for several months. I was tired of the smell of the oil so decided to try something different. The smell is nice but doesn’t hang around very long. It does seem to make my beard hair feel softer which is what it’s supposed to do.
Ordered the sandlewood and patchouli beard oil, and I was expecting a lighter and possibly sweeter scent than what it actually is. The scent is much darker and woodsier, which I actually like better than a lighter sweeter scent. It is certainly a masculine scent. It is also not overpowering and can be paired with cologne or aftershave with similar scent notes.
I really like that this isn't an oily beard oil. It hasn't stained any of my collars or left my hands greasy. It just keeps my beard soft, mostly tamed, and smelling good.
Really tames my long beard. Softens and conditions. Smells really good but not overpowering.

Apricot Kernel Carrier Oil is good for all skin types. It is very rich and nourishing - particularly in vitamin A. Jojoba Golden is a favorite carrier oil. Our Jojoba golden carrier oil is GMO free. In actuality, it is a liquid wax. It closely resembles the sebum of the skin, and is rich in vitamin E. This promotes a glowing complexion. The Golden variety of Jojoba may alter color and odors in cosmetics. It is also important to note that Jojoba may go cloudy in cool temperatures. It will return to its clear state with warming. Purchases of entire drums can also expect some clouding near the end of the drum. This is natural as Phospholipids (natural components of most vegetable oils) hydrate and precipitate out of suspension. I ordered two different scents. Woodsman and sandlewood patchouli. The woodsman scent I can’t stand. But the patchouli one is great. The quality of the oil in both is exactly what I was looking for. Keeps a decent shine, and helps keep my skin from flaking.
I’m fairly new to the beard oil scene but now that my beard is starting to grow In a slightly more consistent manner I’ve decided to start trying out some different beard oils. Before using this product I didn’t realize how dry my beard really was. Now that I have started it has taken a couple weeks but now my beard is so soft. Not gonna lie I was starting to loose hope. It seemed like my face was itchier and it felt like it wasn’t working. I then found out I was misusing the product by watching videos on how to properly apply it. Now my beard is softer than I’ve ever had it at this length.
I ordered this for my husband. We had trouble finding one that he liked the smell of. A lot of beard oils smell horrible and give me a headache. This one has a wonderful smell that we both love. I’ve ordered it 3 times now. So it’s definitely a great product.
Fantastic smell!! Def smells like an old school barber shop! Seen lots of ppl complaining about to scent over powering. Not the case at all! Just the right amount of scent! Maybe if it's an over powering scent ya might need to shave ur beard cause manhood isn't for you! Lol. On a serious note highly recommend this product I'll def buy again!
You read the title correctly, this is hands down the BEST smelling beard oil EVER. I don't think any other brand can even come close to the smell of this Sandalwood Patchouli beard oil. And the price is also much better than other brands. I really wish Kentucky 51 can make a perfume of this smell I would buy it INSTANTLY. I have gotten so many compliments about my beard smelling great. Also has a nice shine to it but nothing too much, just the right amount. I'm never buying another brand's beard oil ever, ONLY Kentucky 51 beard oil from now on!
