Good brush. I purchased the palm-sized soft bristle brush. The boar hair bristles are strong enough to tease out the beard hairs lying closer to the skin without scraping the skin. No problems with bristles falling out. The boar bristles initially seemed to absorb some of the beard oil I was using, but after a week of daily use it seems to be spreading the oils as expected. I haven't used the brush for my hair except for a quick swipe here and there.
As you can imagine, I bought this beard brush for my beard. One of the things I found that distinguishes this product from other ones like it is the fact that the brush is made with 100% genuine boar bristles. The brush does shed a little bit, but that's normal for boar bristle brushes. The brush itself is artfully (hand)made out of wood, with the Beardman logo branded on the back. It's very comfortable to hold and has little grooves on the sides to help you keep your grip. The size is perfect for keeping it in your pocket or tucking into small pockets of a bag. The length of the bristles is perfect for the average length beard, but if you have something more akin to Gandalf, this may not cut it for you.
This brush has been wonderful for when my beard feels especially itchy. Rather than using my finger nails to scratch at my face, I simply give myself a thorough brushing and the itchiness disappears. It also does a nice job of spreading the natural oil throughout your beard, preventing split ends and beardruff.
Overall, this has become a necessity for my daily routine. Keeps the stray hairs in place and the beard generally healthier.
It fits well into an average sized hand and is much better then anything that is found at Wally World. My beard is prone to breaking with a plastic comb but the boar bristles seemed to do the trick in taming the mess without breakage. You will experience a few bristles falling out at first but it stops after the first few times .The downside to this brush is it has turned me into a brush snob and will only use boar brush from now on. I also use it on my hair after i brush out my beard with beard oil it does such a good job distributing the oil that i do not need to use any more on my hair. I plan on getting a few more of these for gifts for my friends this year Great vale for the set.
This beard brush is legit! It isn't too coarse, nor is it too soft, it is right in the middle for me. As time goes on, the bristles have relaxed or softened some, due to my beard balm and oil but this is like breaking leather in. Right now it's perfect, and now if I forget my brush, it's like forgetting to brush your teeth. I have had very few bristles come out, even after a couple months of use, and the appearance of the brush is nice. I feel this brush is a great buy and isn't overpriced like many others around. In other words, its not a gimmick, it does what it's made to do.
This beard brush works great but feels a little rougher than I was expecting. I have really thick curly hair and this brush tames it quickly. I use it both dry and with beard oils. It spreads beard oil evenly throughout my beard and doesn't irritate my skin like other brushes I've used. I should have read more of the reviews, since I didn't realize how small it was going to be. This seems to be meant as more of a pocket brush. My dad loves this brush so I will be buying another one for him on his birthday.

This is a great beard brush! I was not sure which one to get, and am quite happy that I bought this one. I can recommend it highly. The bristles do a great job without hurting the face. I use it to brush in my beard oil and beard balm and then use a comb on my beard to finish styling my beard. If you are serious about beard maintenance, you cannot go wrong with this product. Also, I have short hair and use this brush on my head at times and it works quite nicely for that purpose as well.
Works well on my beard. At first it feels rough but I got use to it quickly. I got the soft version, I now wish I had gotten the hard bristle version instead. Over time either the bristles softened up or I got use to them.
As for if all the bristles are boar or not, well I don't know. They don't look like nylon to me. Not a single one. So I assume they are boar bristles, but I'm not going to set mine on fire to find out.
Nice stiff beard brush with a comfortable size for gripping. It's nice to run through after applying some cream or oil, to get it all smoothed out. The bristles don't grab too much, but pick up just enough product to distribute it. A few bristles have pulled out, but nothing serious. Overall seems solidly made and effective.
This is a nice brush, works well and isn't too stiff. As others have stated, some bristles have some out but they seemed to have stopped now. The brush is a little smaller than I would have liked, but I also have large hands. Overall I think this will do well helping me get ready in the morning.
This is a great brush. At first I was nervous about the soft bristles but it works so well. I'm going to buy another one to replace a brush j have with really stiff bristles.
