I had a big shock when my husband asked me to buy Yardley's bath soap!!! He asked for it by name!! I had no idea he even KNEW brand names of soaps! He asked for it because Yardley's has fine-milled soaps that don't get mushy in water. He is right-they don't. However, they do lather up well and go on easily. I bought the soap set because I have this tendency to switch around different fragrances, as I get bored using the same scent. My favorites in this set are the lavender and the lemon-verbena. The scents are noticeable but not overwhelming. When your husband asks you for a specific soap, that is impressive!
My family has been using the Yardley oatmeal and almond bar for two years and it is the best! I usually get it for Walmart but was so shocked to see all the assorted scents they have on Amazon. I did hear English Lavender is a least favorite but I m excited to try the aloe and avocado bar. I did notice the bars on Amazon look larger than the bars sold in Walmart which is a plus. Definitely will be buying this assortment again!!
I strayed to another brand recently because the bars were much larger than the Yardley bars, but at the end of the day I was very disappointed to find that the scent of their bars was not nearly as pleasant as Yardley's. And Yardley brand bars seem to have a very even scent distribution all the way through the bar. I can't say the same for the other brand I tried - the scent was okay for the first 25% of the outer layer of the bar, then almost non-existent the rest of the way through.
I won't stray from Yardley again. Totally worth the extra cost.
I've tried all 5 scented soaps. Before I begin, I love the gentleness of these soaps. They feel rich and creamy and none of them have obnoxious odors like some other cheap soaps like Irish Spring. Perfumes tend to make me nauseated. Also, I've noticed that the bars last quite awhile despite being used by two people daily. I love the Lemon Verbena, English Lavender and Oatmeal & Almond. These have natural soothing scents that are not overpowering. The other two, Aloe & Avocado and Cocoa Butter, do not have any scent. Maybe those are good for people that want softness and cleanliness without any scent. Next time, I'm just going to purchase my favorite 3.
i am happy with the product and i do love the brand. but after using a lot of their body soaps assuming this brand didnt use unnatural colorings like yellow 5 or 6 and red 30 or blue one. i am up set that these bars of soap have these and it was not listed. however i will keep them as they smell wonderful an i do love the brand. but this is the reason for 4 starts.

It’s a very moisturizing bar soap that doesn’t leave your skin dry. Even my picky husband loves using it. I hate the soft soap that crumbles and gets mushy when wet. This is a hard soap that doesn’t crumble. I love the variety pack since it has a different scent for everyone. My favorite is lemon verbena.
The bars of soap are thick and large. Remembering how Yardley soaps smelled so nice in my younger days. Nice to have for gifts and my own use.
I stopped using liquid soaps on my body after realizing how many harsh chemicals they contain. Switching to these basic soaps leaves my skin clean, soft, smooth, and moisturized.
Smells so good and at a great price
Love Yardley soap! I keep it in a basket in my bathroom and it makes the whole room smell great! This is the best price out there!
