I got this hair clipper because, in my years of experience, Wahl has always pretty much kept their quality and durability standards well. After spending over $20 on my last (much-needed!) simple haircut at the local barber, I decided to pay a little more, and just go back to cutting it myself. I'm so glad I did, it has already paid for itself, after only using it twice, and it's a good-quality, easy to use, solidly-built clipper set. Comes with oil and several attachments, and they actually work--you just snap them on the trimmer blade, and they actually stay on while you cut your hair. The other cheaper brands I've tried barely stay on, and then come loose or just fall off at the exact wrong time--on this one, they won't. I'm very happy with this purchase. You can't go wrong!

Works great and a quiet motor. I had bought one of these previously before at a beauty supply store for triple the price than price in Amazon. Works great for fade, taper. Could have come with a case but for the price I am not one to complain and is the best hair clipper I've had so far.

Purchased for my husband and they work great. He uses it regularly and says they trim well.
My Wahl Taper 2000 came right on time and is exactly what I expected. I am a Barber and I LOVE Wahl products!
Performs exactly as advertised. It is strong enough to trim my beard and more, and it is relatively quiet. There are enough attachment to allow triming to any length desired.
Love it! Perfect for men’s haircuts.
