I purchased this product for the first time about a year ago because I had an uneven skin tone and scars from acne. i read how unrefined shea butter could help even my skin out and get rid of the scars I'd accumulated over the years. I was a bit skeptical but decided to try it anyway. Well after a steady regiment of applying the shea butter mornings before work and at night before i went to bed I saw a significant difference of my spots fading and my skin evening out. It took about a month to see a significant difference and i always get compliments on how beautiful my skin is. My daughter also uses it for her ezcema, it does a wonderful job of mousterizing her skin without any type of irritation. I'm a true fan and will continue to shop with this company!
This stuff is amazing. I’ve been using it for a few months on my face as a moisturizer but I just had surgery last week and they ripped some of the skin in my face off. I had three big scabs and thought it would be forever before they would heal. I got home from the hospital on Friday .... had surgery the day before. And now on Friday of the next week they are GONE!!!! This is amazing stuff. I just didn’t realize how amazing till this happened. I am buying another jar just to make sure I have it on hand at all time!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Delt with many butters and they were iffy. This plant guru butter is a miracle. I've had eczema for the last few years and most butters just help with the drying however this root butter does that and does more what I notice most is it clears up blackheads and evens skin tone really fast like I never seen before.Im so happy I gave this a try. I bought 32 ounces last week well I'm gonna buy 32 more I'm scared they'll run out this is the best.

Made from the same Karite nut (Butyrospermum parkii). It is processed similarly, but the root of the Borututu Tree (Cochlospermum angolense) is added during the milling process. The root is responsible for the bright yellow color. Borututu is a medicinal plant from Africa.
Although both yellow & ivory shea butter come from the same source, the yellow variety is slightly more firm & takes a little longer to absorb into the skin. The smell is very similar to ivory shea butter, a slightly sweet & nutty scent. The two butters are more or less the same. Some people say that yellow is better for skin conditions like eczema & psoriasis, because it stays on the skin longer. Our preference is for ivory, due to it's softer texture & neutral color. You cant go wrong either way, try both out for yourself & see which one you like better!

My 3 year old has eczema and really dry skin and I’ve tried over 6 products and raw African shea butter is the only thing that works! I would recommend again and again. Sometimes it’s a struggle to get it out because it’s hard but it’s worth it as opposed to your regular lotion.
My skin is glowing and looking younger every day. My natural hair loves the Shea butter too. I use it on my daughter's skin too. After summer camp her skin was so dry and tanned. It's going back to normal thanks to plant guru. I'm thankful and grateful for this wonderful product. I love the way it smells, it makes my skin smell and look yummy too.
Its a great size for the price, and i used this on my hair and skin so far, and it keeps them both moisturized.
This shea butter is out of this world. I love the quality. I use this to make my own body Butters, lotions, and sun screen. It has a very pleasant nutty smell that's easy to embrace and also easy to cover up (if it's not your thing) I love how natural this product is. You can tell from how luxurious your skin looks and feels after applying. Sometimes I'll even grab some straight from the jar for my especially dry areas like my knees or elbows. It may take a little longer for your skin to absorb than regular store bought lotion but that's because those other lotions have alcohol in them making your skin always thirsty for moisture. This stuff is the real deal. One application a day is all you need. Any other applications are for pure Indulgence!
Makes my skin super soft. I like the texture because you don’t have to melt it you just rub it between your hands then onto your body
