It's nice to find a shaving soap that isn't loaded with sandalwood scent to the point it causes gagging. The scent with this soap is soft and not noticeable once it's washed off so it won't clash with whatever other scent one may be wearing. I've been using it almost every day for a month now and it's still as tall in the soap bowl as it was when I first opened the package. A little warm water on top of the soap a few minutes before I shave and it produces a nice modest layer of gentle lather. Makes shaving a much nicer experience.
This is good shave soap. As others have mentioned, it's not as foamy, frothy, thick and luby as some, but I seem to get a closer shave with this than many of the thicker soaps. I'll add that over time, this soap, like others, does get a bit thicker and foamier as the cake wets.
Scent is nice, and I can use as regular soap in the shower, too. All in all it's a good product. Too bad nice shave soaps cost so much!
Wonderful shave soap with a pleasant and tame fragrance. It certainly is high quality yet don't expect the same quality you may have come to expect from the Old World purveyors like Truefitt and Hill. I got a great lather yet not the frothiest. When the product arrived there were instructions that told me to whisk the disk with my shaving brush an exorbitant amount of times yet didn't find the need to do so that much. I do however use a stiffer brush. Keep in mind when ordering that this is a smaller sized soap but the description is very clear. I knew what to expect! I look forward to trying their other products in due time.
Great shaving soap. Artisan quality. Good lather. Decent protection from the blade. I like small batch natural soaps. This one is a winner. The Lavender with the Eucalypus and Tea Tree Oil is a very good combination. Two thumbs up from a man that has wet shaved for decades.
Recieved a few days early, and that made me very happy. Icould smell it before I opened the envelope it shipped in... It smelled like pure lavender flowers...amazing!
I haven't used it yet, but it made my bathroom smell fantasic. I (being a woman) really am excited to use it. A friend of mine smelled it and now he wants to buy some himself. He is a big fan of lavender, but I figured this would be too much for a man, but he is excited to make a purchase.

Description
For a traditional wet shaving experience, we have a line of traditional shaving soaps. This soap formula was created to be a balance between having rich lather and being conditioning. The lather protects the skin and softens the beard while providing an extremely close shave. Eucalyptus Tea Tree Lavender has a very traditional shave scent with the lavender essential oil acting as a nice soft complement to the crisp eucalyptus and tea tree essential oils. As with all of our shave products, we are careful not to over-scent to avoid any irritation to the sensitive skin on your face.
I love this smell, I find it relaxing and it makes shaving a little more pleasant (especially over the scent of shaving can aerosol).
The bar and brush do seem to produce a good lather, but I do struggle making a lather in a bowl (however I am new to using a bar and brush, so it may just be me) I haven't noticed it drying out, being oily, or anything weird left on my skin.
This Perfectly Natural Soap Lavender Eucalyptus Tea shaving soap works well. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I got thick, rich lather. The fragrance, though, is odd and medicine-y...kind of aromatic. No matter, I get a nice, smooth protected shave with no irritation. Good enough.
Used this in a wooden soap holder. Lathers a bit slowly, but the scent and the soap does a great job in softening the beard. The aroma is also appreciated by my wife (I like it to to help wake up in the morning. Always appreciated the 'old fashioned' approach top shaving, and this helps elevate this to an artform. I pared this with the kingley wood soap dish, also on amazon.
This is an excellent soap!!! I like it more than art of shaving cream. Ironically, I melted it down into an empty art of shaving cream tub. It has a great lather and great scent. Also for the price, even if you just want to try it, you can’t go wrong.
If you are looking for good cheap shaving soap this is the one. It has a nice after smell of lavender which I was looking for, and it does foam up nice. A good buy.
