After using a lot of hair creams and gels from other brands, I couldn't find one that didn't feel greasy or make my hair stiff. Then I stumbled upon Kick's Active Hair Styling Cream, and figured that I'd give it a try based upon the description. Am I happy that I did, upon opening the bottle I was greeted with a clean, fruity scent and a very pliable cream. I was able to style my hair with ease, and after letting the pomade set my hair did not feel greasy, stiff, or dried out.
An added benefit is that this cream will actually hydrate and moisturize your hair, and washes out cleanly in a hot shower. I've found that if American Crew Forming Cream or similar styling creams work with your hair type (straight/wavy hair), this pomade will be ideal.
Overall, I'm very pleased with Kick's innovation and highly recommend it for guys who are looking for an upgrade from their existing hair styling cream.
When it comes to my hair, I'm very picky. I will not rest until every strand of hair is where it needs to be. For so long I was using American Crew, then I switched to this specialty brand, and more recently, I tried a product called "Mint."
I was never fully satisfied with any of them, and then, Kick came along. I've been using Kick for a few weeks now, and I'm beyond pleased. The product smells good, goes in easily, and lasts all day. I'm constantly on the go, and I don't have time to be worrying about my hair, and I don't anymore.

I use pomade almost every day. Sometimes it gets a bit stiff and unnatural. This product does hold your hair. But your hair remains relatively natural and doesn't look wet or shiny( I really like it when nobody can tell I used hair product). So it's more suitable for daily use. Forming cream also helps nourish your hair, that's an extra advantage. However, when it's windy or super humid, I suggest you use spray or other products. The style won't last, especially when your hair is relatively long.
The styling cream has a fruity (mango like) smell. The texture is slightly sticky and a thickness somewhere between lotion and a hair paste. The directions recommend applying to dry hair, but I find that it's easier to work with when your hair is slightly damp. The product holds thought the day very well with no flakes or crusty feel...in fact my hair is softer than ever and I haven't needed to use conditioner since I've started using this product. I gave the product 4 stars because it really works well, however I would prefer a more manly scent like cedar, sawdust, pipe tobacco, or leather. I'll keep using the styling cream because of all it's good qualities ... but I have to admit when I put it on in the morning, the scent of mangoes and the creamy texture makes me feel like I'm rubbing yogurt in my hair.
When I received the product, the Kick bottle is slimmer than I thought, which I cannot really tell from the commercial pictures. It took me some time to adjust to it but a good thing about it is since its volume is vertically up, it takes less surface space in the bathroom table. The scent of the product is good and the hold was quite firm which is great.
A couple of small suggestions I thought of that may make the product better: 1. When I tried to whoop out the cream, it was quite sticky and would leave a couple "tails" behind at first like when you try to pick up a glue. This may contribute to the firmness the cream provides, while if there are some ways to mitigate the effect when the user whoops it out it would look nicer. 2. After I washed my hair and dried it, there seem to still be some effect of stickiness left within and makes the drying process a bit harder, again it may be due to the nature of the cream, and if it could be more easily washed off, it would be great.
Overall, I think it's a solid product and would recommend trying. Keep up the good work!

So far I am still getting use to using KICK. You put it on dry hair and I'm still struggling with just the right amount. Some people complained about the odor; I do not find it offensive or overpowering--it's very subtle.
This is by far the best one I ever bought. Nongreasy, medium hold that last me all day. It washes right off your hands after applying. It goes on unscented, this is a very important point for me. I hate most scented creams and I can't wear them cause it bothers me. I can't ask for more. I found a winner.
This is my second favorite hair paste i've ever used. The first got cancelled lol. This has a decent scent and hold. Provides excellent texture and makes your hair look thicker. It makes my hair feel great and is easy to wash out. You can touch it up midday but will lose some shine. Overall great product!
Little too much shine than I prefer but not too bad. It's not a thick cream which I love. It smells great! Styles my hair well. I don't notice too much thickening when using it but does everything else just fine.
Perfect hair product for a person who is extremely particular. The smell is great (mildly fruity but not cheap). The hold is superb. The hair survived a post Christmas cookie baking wrestling match. I’d say it would hold up to almost anything besides water.
