My last boar bristle brush died years ago and I never replaced it. I've been using a comb since then and my hair has been brittle and dry, I just realized it's because of the brush. One session with this and I can tell that my hair will be healthy and glossy once more. The bristles are intact, plastic tips help my fine hair immensely, handle is comfortable.
I purchased this brush to add to my efforts to get my hair to grow quicker and thicker. I love it because it sensitizes my scalp and makes my scalp feel a pleasant tingly for a few minutes afterwards. It also makes my hair feel incredibly soft, not sure if it is helping with hair growth or not yet but it does feel like it helps pull the oils from my scalp to distribute them. I took a star off because the boars bristle portions of the brush come out VERY easily. There are plenty of them on the brush, but I find quite a few of the little bristles after brushing my hair.
Best hair brush I have ever owned. It is a good size and really gets to the scalp.Seems to calm my hair.I would recommend this to a friend,
My daughter has very thick, wavy, sometimes oily, sometimes frizzy hair. This is the first brush she's had that doesn't pull and break hairs and it actually gets through all of her hair and gets tangles out. It seems to help with frizz and distribute the oils in her hair very well.
This is an excellent brush. I use it to brush my 4-7 inches of hair every night. I sit down, lay forward, brush 50 times from the back to front, sit up straight and do another 50 from the front to the back. It's helps with getting the blood circulation of the head going. More importantly, it relaxes the neck and shoulders before bed.
Superb quality (but this is my first brush - coming from a guy who's never really combed his hair). Enjoy!

Love this brush! I've been using it for a few days now and I already noticed a difference! My hair does not get very tangled and frizzy through out my day anymore and my hair has also been feeling softer.
This brush works like a charm for my daughter who is a no shampoo kid with long hair. It's gentle and she can go about 10 days between washing with this brush.
My first Boar Bristle Hair Brush and I love it. Shopped around quite a bit before deciding on this one. Feels wonderful on the scalp. The brush is well made and nicely balanced in the hand. If like me you are shopping around trying to decide which one to buy, I would highly recommend this one.
I love how this brush feels in my hair. In fact the long bristles massage my scalp while the boar hair shines.
Best brush I have ever owned. It does not hurt to brush tangles after the shower and does not pull out hair when brushing. it also feels nice and gives your head a little scratch massage. I love it
