I use the balm on my goatee, which is very coarse and wavy. The balm works well, keeps most of the stray hairs flattened out, which is tough to do because it's like the consistency of copper wire.
The balm is really thick and once it's worked into the beard, it's easy to brush and form. Usually I have stray hairs pointing in all directions and no amount of brushing/combing does any good, but the balm works.
The chin mane is much softer after using the balm, wife says it smells good, worth the price.
The only downside I see is that while working I usually get covered with dust, debris & I think it'll probably get stuck in my beard now. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be fine.
This is my favorite beard balm that I've used. I have curly/wavy facial hair, which means that my beard can often times took pretty disheveled and puffy and all over the place. I've found that for that type of facial hair, you need a pretty strong hold beard balm to get the curly hair strands to join themselves together and look neat. Other balms I've tried are too soft and gel-like, and make your beard look greasy, and they don't have much hold. This balm however has a strong hold, and it doesn't look greasy. It makes my beard look great! Just scrape some balm out with the back of your fingernail, then spread it a bit around your finger tips then evenly distribute it throughout your beard in a downwards motion, waivy/curly hair strands all come together and stay neatly in place. Recommended!
This brand is my favorite . I like it’s a US based company , they have a good website and nice gal to speak with if you call the company direct. I found this product at Walmart but then they stopped selling it after the winter, so know in use amazon. Lots of sents and different Kinds but I like this one also seems to help keep the bugs away when I’m outside
I have tried so many different types of balms and products to get my beard to cooperate, and this is by far the best one yet. I have a coarse, curly beard that is unruly, and applying this to it gets the flyaways to lay down, while also conditioning my skin and beard.
It has a nice cedar/pine scent.
If you have a beard you need to control, I'd definitely recommended this balm.
I used this same brand's oil,same scent, loved it. Thought I should give the balm a try, I love it even better, I just rub a course beard brush around in the container and rub it on my face its perfect, no need to use a lot at all

I'm pretty sure this is there mustache wax in a bigger container. I have their mustache wax which is way too soft for me. I compared the two I have at home and they're the same. As a heavy beard balm its pretty heavy but it works and smells awesome
I was trying out beard balms to calm my crazy mane, and decided to give this a try. Once I melted it down in my hands, and brushed it in, my beard was more straight and structured than it had ever been, giving me a look I wanted without looking waxy or feeling hard.

I've used various oil solutions to try to tame a naturally curly/wiry/itchy beard. AS of yet this balm has been the best solution. It softens and controls my beard nicely. The timber sent is fairly strong so bear (heh) that in mind when choosing this balm.
I like that it holds better than the standard balm, and still matches the timber scent from the oil and shampoo that came with my original balm kit. Would give 5 stars if it held just a bit more, but will return here for next order instead of another brand.
This works create for curly beards. It's pretty hard though and you definitely have to work it in your hands before applying. The timber scent is pretty good. Much better than the original scent which to me smells like lemons and CocaCola. Definitely will continue to use in the future.
