I have used Taylor of Old Bond Street and the art of shaving but this is my all-time preference. You cannot beat the richness of the lather and you don't have to worry about toxins. Avoiding toxins is especially important probably because of my profession but people underestimate what it does when you add chemicals to your face every day. Do yourself a favor choose this you won't be disappointed.

Good lather, I use a badger hair brush very lightly on the soap for about 30 seconds and get a really good foamy lather. This soap also has a very strong scent that is almost like a cologne. The strong scent might be off-putting for some who are going for more of a light clean smell, but I really like it.
Great product! Doesn't leave my skin feeling dry like other shaving soaps I've tried. They even threw in a free 2 OZ beard balm (which I have to a friend with a beard)
This is the only shave soap I use (except when traveling). This "flavor" has a nice fragrance and the soap actually lathers better than other selections.

Works well and smells good
This is a great smelling soap that lathers well. I have been using it for 2 months now and have no complaints
Easy to lather, worked good, not as strong scented of bergamot and tobacco as I would have preferred but still pleasant.

Not many reviews so i thought it was kinda sketchy but honestly this smells so good with like an earthy forest dew, cigar/pipe (unsmoked) tobacco, ceder, and old school barber smell combined. In addition, it makes incredible lather. The soap bar is semi transparent as they use glycerin which looked weird but whatever. I recommend putting it into a large tea mug 12-16oz and lathering up in there with the soap. Leaves skin very soft by the way, and not too pungent.
Huge upside, seems to run out incredibly slowly
