Not much difference between this and Honest Amish other than the smell and price. Not too greasy/oily, keeps my skin from drying out and leaves my beard soft. If I had to choose between the two. I'd buy this one again because the smell isn't overwhelming and it seems to go on smoother, it doesn't get gritty like Honest Amish tends to do with temperature fluctuations. Overall I'm satisfied until something better and cheaper comes around.
The first thing you'll notice about this balm is that it smells very, very strongly. It took some getting used to, but after using this product for several days, the smell grew on me and I can't complain about it anymore. It softened my beard really well, although I was hoping it would smooth it down against my face as well, it didn't seem to, no matter how much I used. All-in-all, I'd say it's a great product that works as advertised.
Disclaimer: I purchased this as a mustache wax after finding glowing reviews of it as such a product all over the interwebs.
I like that it isn't heavy or greasy, but it doesn't do much for styling unless you already have a natural curl to your mustache. This will not help you style your facial hair, but it will help give it a little support and keep it looking shiny and clean.
Just dab a little and comb it through, it's simple and smells nice.
Not much more to say. For the price, I wish the internet had not misled me so much, I could have purchased a different but more apt mustache balm elsewhere. But overall I'm very pleased with the product itself.
I'm on my second can of this beard balm and I love it. It smells very nice, but is still subtle. It goes on easy, isn't messy, and absolutely works to calm my beard down and soften it up. The can lasts a long time too, lasted me almost a year, using it most days of the week. Highly recommended.
This was a the first conditioner I purchased for my beard. I like the texture and hold of this product a lot. The only thing that is a "negative" in anyway is the strong aroma. They say it's a "woody" scent but to me it smells like lavender. It took me a few days to get used to but I rather enjoy it now - almost a sinus clearing result. When I put it freshly on and picked up my daughter from school she wanted to know "what's that smell?" so it is very strong at first. My wife rated the 5 balms I know have in order of preference and she rated this one last. I don't use it everyday but am saving it for when I need a aromatic blast.

- Use our Voted #1 Best Beard Shampoo by Toolsofmen. Highest rated, best price and highest quality!: Simply wet beard, work bar through, and using fingers to create a rich lather work through beard thoroughly. (Shampoo bar can be used on whole body & head to cleanse hair and skin and moisturize). Rinse thoroughly and follow with our beard conditioner and/or beard gloss.
- Beard Detangling Conditioner: Moisten conditioner bar with warm water and work between hands. Massage hands into wet beard working through thoroughly (or concentrating on dry ends as you wish) adding more conditioner as required until you feel hair is lightly coated with conditioner, and hair feels soft. Detangle with fingers or comb. Rinse well. Conditioner bar can be used on head & beard to condition hair. Lasts about 150-100 washes/ a whole year if used twice a week!

love this stuff!! It is important to note that this product does not provide a lot of hold, but it is a little "heavy" and will hold down some strays. What this product does provide is:
A. a wonderful shiny layer on your beard. I have a multi-colored beard and this product really brings out all of the colors,
B. deep conditioning properties that soften and strengthen your beard
C. a very pleasant smell that lasts longer than most oils or balms. I love the scent, kind of hard to describe but not overpowering at all.

Dear God, do I love the smell of this. Took a little trial and error to learn how to apply (It is rather solid) but once figured out it is great. Keeps my beard feeling awesome. After putting it on, animals instantly cower in fear, or bow respectively. Women are no match for this beard, as they are unwittingly lured in by it's alluring smell and soft touch. BEWARE!
But seriously...this stuff is awesome. Smells great, works great.
PRO TIP - don't try to glob it on. run your fingers around the gloss until they are nicely coated, rub into beard, and then comb through as a final step after you've coated your entire beard. Works for me.
Admittedly, this is the first beard care product I have ever used or purchased, but so far I am extremely happy with what it does. My beard is roughly 2 1/2" - 3" long after 4 months, and I was getting tired of the stray hairs making my face look like a mangy dog... This balm gives your beard a soft feel and is strong enough to keep the loose hairs at bay, with a small amount of "sculpting" ability; however, it isn't strong enough to do full blown sculpting... I may try out a wax for that as my beard grows longer. It has a nice smell to it as well. I'd definitely recommend giving this stuff a shot!
I'm a big fan of the Professor Fuzzworthy Beard Shampoo and thought I would try the beard balm as well. I'm now a fan of the whole line of their beard products. I like the feel, the scent and the result.
But most of all, I appreciate the customer service that comes with ordering these products. I won't bore anyone with details, but I found Beauty and the Bees Tasmania folks kind and generous - not all that common among vendors.
I'm now a loyal customer.
This is third beard care product that I have tried and it is the best of the three. It is smooth and creamy, melts quickly in my hand and goes on smooth. My beard is noticeably less frizzy and easier to groom compared to using just a thick conditioner. The most difficult part about growing a beard is learning how to trim, condition and groom it. I recommend this product to anyone that needs help taming the beast.
