This GIBS Sharp Dressed Mane Shave Gel provides a close shave and smells delicious.

This is a clear gel. It doesn't foam up. You just apply a thin layer of gel over your beard and start shaving. My husband remarked that he likes the clear gel as he can see if he missed a spot before he rinses off his face. And we both love the fresh, masculine, scent. It does linger a while, which we both enjoy.

Shaving is tedious at best but this clear gel makes it a bit less so since you can see what you need to shave.

Mine came with a hole at the end of the tube where it is heat sealed. It was obviously a manufacturing defect and much of the tube leaked out into the packing bag. That was disappointing but there was still enough in the tube for a few shaves.

This shave gel doesn't foam up like my normal shave gels (such as Nivea and Gillette). When I'm shaving my whole face, I found like I prefer those other gels because the foam gives me more lubrication and a more comfortable shave. For edging around a beard or goatee, though, this is an excellent choice! Because it doesn't foam up or turn white like the other gels, I can easily see where the edges of my goatee are. When I use my other gels, I always need to wipe away the gel from the edges so that I can see them, so there isn't much lubrication left. With this gel, I can leave it on and shave with confidence.

If you're looking for a mostly clear gel, this is great. For full face shaving when I don't need to see through it, I prefer Nivea for the extra lubrication. For edging, I prefer this.

First of all, yes, this smells masculine - but I love it! The smell is really nice, and since I tend to shower and shave in the evenings, no one smells my "manly" legs except me, the hubs, and our daughter, and no one seems at all bothered by it! I love that it is clear as I can see the hair that still needs to go as well, and it is quite shiny, so if you go by where the gel is to know where to shave, you can see that, too.I like the glycerin base as it stays put pretty well, and doesn't dry out quickly and get all nasty, but rather gives you several minutes to get the whole area shaved nicely. Good product! This tube has covered my legs once, but should do at least another 3 to 4 rounds of legs. Good deal!

My husband prefers shave gel as opposed to foam. He has sensitive skin and is fairly particular about what products he uses. He found this to leave his skin feeling moisturized and that it worked well and was not irritating to his face. The scent of this is pleasant and I am not particularly found of overly scented men's products. The smell does linger a bit longer than I would like on my husband's skin. This is a well made product and works effectively. It you like your face products to have a fair amount of fragrance this will be a great product for you.

I love love love this shave gel!! I had originally purchased this for my hubby but I’ve been using it too when I shave my legs. I much prefer men’s shaving gels over women’s because they just seem thicker and I get no nicks when shaving my bony legs lol. The scent is very masculine, smells awesome! The scent quickly disappears on my legs but seems to linger on my hubby’s face. I love the Gibs line.. my son has several hair products by them and they all have that signature scent. A little goes a long way. Would definitely purchase again.

I'm a BIG fan of argan oil, and I cannot say enough good things about it, but I will try. This is my second bottle of argan oil from Majestic Pure. I purchased the first bottle at full price, and I was given the opportunity to receive another bottle at discount in exchange for a honest review. I started using the first bottle about 2 months ago, so I can give a truly honest review about how this oil benefits my skin.
First of all, a little background on my skin. I have fairly dry, sensitive skin that gets red and painful in the winter time no matter how much moisturizer I put on my face. I don't usually get a lot of acne, but I do have a LOT of clogged pores. I've tried so many different beauty products (mud mask, clay mask, salicylic acid, chemical peel...etc.) to make them appear smaller but nothing has really worked, at least until I started trying the oil cleansing method couple months ago.
There's a lot of hype on the internet surrounding the oil cleansing method; some people swear by it and use nothing but oil on their face, while others say it made their acne worse. For me, it worked really well. Here are the steps:
1) Massage your face with your choice of oil for a couple minutes (a lot of people recommend a mix of castor with a more moisturizing oil, but my face doesn't agree with castor so I've been using argan oil)
2) Run a washcloth under hot (not warm, but not so hot that it burns) water, wring out the water and cover your face with it to help open the pores
3) Gently massage your face again with the remaining oil on your face
4) Repeat step 2
5) Wipe away the oil or just leave it on your face for a more moisturizing effect

The first time I tried it, I used jojoba oil because it's said to have similar structure as sebum. When I was massaging my face with it, I just couldn't get past the feeling that I had grease on my face. I could massage for 5 minutes and none of the oils was absorbed by my skin. I started to develop more clogged pores and whiteheads after a couple of days and it kept getting worse, so I decided to switch oils. I looked up the comedogenic (pore-clogging) rating of oils and found out that jojoba oil has a rating of 2 (moderately low), while argan oil is one of the few oils with a rating of 0 (will not clog pores). Unlike jojoba oil, argan oil is absorbed really quickly by my skin, so if you're using it as a moisturizer instead of for oil cleansing, it shouldn't leave a shiny residue. You really only need about 3 drops if using it as moisturizer.

It's been two months since I started using the oil cleansing method with argan oil, and there has been a significant reduction in pore size. When used alone, it's very moisturizing, but I love putting on vitamin C serum right after wiping away the oils because my pores are still open from the steaming. It really helps my face absorb the serum, then I follow up with a moisturizer.

I found that the oil cleansing method works best when used in combination with retinol serum and moisturizer (there are a lot of options on Amazon, just make sure it has at least 2.5% retinol). I also use a salicylic acid exfoliating wash (made by Perfect Image) twice a week to break down any stubborn sebum plugs. In the morning, I use vitamin C serum and moisturizer instead of retinol. My daily beauty routine has not only helped reduce my pore size, but also brightened my skin and made my skin tone more even.

I also use argan oil on my hair. I do a once-a-week leave-in treatment by rubbing argan oil (and a couple drops of rosemary essential oil to stimulate hair growth) into my scalp. I work my way from scalp to the ends of my hair and I leave it in for a couple of hours before shampooing it out. It helps detangle my hair and gives it a nice shine!

Like I said, I cannot say enough good things about argan oil. Majestic Pure makes really high quality products and the prices are very reasonable. I'm still working on my first bottle after 2 months, and I still have half a bottle left, so this 4 oz bottle will last you a long time!

P.S. Some reviewers wrote that they received rancid oil, I did not notice any rancid smell, just a light, nutty scent.

It's so light and non greasy! I scrunch it into damp hair and it curls up my hair without looking crunchy or feeling hard. It has no odor either. I wish I had discovered this sooner! Definitely can not substitute with coconut oil or aloe gel and water! I was using that and the results from Argan oil are far superior!

Philips Norelco OneBlade Replacement Blade, 1 Count QP210/80

It's great for shaving, definitely less irritating than other types I've used. I trim my beard down to 6mm roughly every 4-5 days and clean up my neckline pretty much every day and my neck used to break out a lot from it. Now with a fresh one of these there's really no irritation however these blades don't last long. I mean, there's a point at which they'll still shave & it won't feel much different but it will irritate your skin. I thought I could stretch one more shave a couple days ago without putting in a fresh one & now I'm breaking out along my neckline & where I touched up my mustache. I haven't paid close enough attention to just how long specifically they last me but it's not as long as I'd like given the cheapest way to get them is this 3-pack at ~$12ea. It's decent at edging, but not great. It seems the flat surface does cutting but also the tines that stick straight out guide hairs in to be cut along the edge, like a barber's hair trimmers work. So for me it's especially difficult to edge up those few straw mustache hairs around the edges of your mouth or too high above the mustache without accidentally pushing too far down & cutting too much. The less precise edging of the neckline is no problem however.

I also shave my head. This razor is actually really effective for that with 2 caveats: First, you'll wear out that blade super duper quick; two full head shaves (I'm balding, very thin hair on top of head) & then I wouldn't chance it on my face again or I'm sure I'd break out. Second, it takes a little longer than the other style razor I've been using (Phillips Bodygroom, which basically all use the same trimmer head). My Bodygroom causes much more irritation but generally cuts through thicker hair on my head better. With that said, I've been having unacceptable levels of irritation with mine even after buying a new trimmer head so I've had to only use it for part of my head shaving which forces me to finish with the OneBlade so I'm burning through these $12 blades too quickly. For me, I'm not sure it's worth it and I think rather than dropping more money on another thing to replace the Bodygroom I think I'm finally going to just invest in straight razor shaving and use this OneBlade because it's great at minimizing irritation until I get competent at the straight razor. Then I'll just keep the OneBlade for my weekly beard trim & I think it will be perfect.

I'm tired of wanting a fresh clean shaven face & ending up with clean shaven acne from irritating razors and this OneBlade would be a really excellent solution if only the replacement blades were cheaper. I can't say precisely but as I think about it I'm probably using one of these 3-packs a month.

I shave with the OneBlade most days, and most days other people couldn't tell the difference between that shave and a more traditional shave. I do have light colored facial hair, so that may not apply if you have very dark hair. However, the real benefit is the complete absence of irritation when shaving with the OneBlade, my skin is pretty sensitive and even high end foil shavers leave me a bit red and with the occasional nick or breakout. My skin looks great after only using the OneBlade for a few days straight, great alternative to have in the facial hair arsenal. It is not a substitute, however, it only gets to 'very short stubble' phase really. But for most days that's OK. Also have found the blades to last a good long while, and when they do degrade they do so gracefully. That is, it will just become a little slower/harder to get a full shave. In contrast, when a foil shaver starts to degrade, I get increased nicks, cuts, and pulls. Not so with this system.

These three blades are good for at least 120-150 real world shaves. Compare with Gillette replacement blades best online price of $34 for pack of 16. Seven to ten shaves per Gillette blade is rather optimistic in my experience and irritation is a huge problem. (P.S.: IMHO the whole 5 blade thing is absolutely ridiculous.) Comparable cost at about $0.20 per shave.

Easier shave with no gel or foam required (although it works with both if you prefer). Results pass the credit card test. Best shave ever for sensitive skin.

My husband has the oneblade. He uses it on his facial hair. One day he told me to try it on my legs. I hate shaving, and it takes a lot of time in the shower.

But I tried this, and now I love it! It was my first time dry shaving. It was so nice and easy to use. We bought these replacement heads since leg hair seems to make the blades get dulled a bit quicker.

I plan on purchasing more in the future!

Cuts close enough for government work. However they blade cartridges are very fragile. I've never actually use one to the point where I felt it was to dull to continue using. So far they all have met their early end when the razor has rolled onto the floor or slipped from hand. The thin plastic in the rotating mechanism for the blade is very fragile and doesn't survive much more than a short drop into the sink. Hitting the floor from counter or face height almost always spells death and therefore another $15 blade. Fortunately, the the handle has been bulletproof and through a half dozen drops shows no damage.

I actually bought this to use as a touch up for the places my electric shaver can’t get to, as I used to use one of this 4 blade razors. This is far far better than both. I am a baldy. I have for years had to use a beard and mustache trimmer to shave my head down to stubble first, then go with a standard razor (Gillette sensor 2) to take the hair down to skin. But, with the Philips one blade, I no longer have to do both. The blades last me about 6 months, so the 2 pack lasts about a year. Maybe that is because I don't use it on my course facial hair. I love the convenience of being able to use it in the shower and this keeps the sink clean. Use a good shaving lotion! As far as facial hair goes, I still use my vintage safety razor. I tried the OneBlade for my face, but it just didn't get close enough for my liking on my neck.

Best uses: Head and Body hair
Pros: Easy to use, works in wet conditions, won't knick moles and other things that traditional razors will. Easy to replace the blades. Blades last longer than traditional razors.
Cons: Not a close shave on neckline.

I love the OneBlade system. If gives me the least amount of irritation out of all electric razors I've used. When I saw this sale I had to jump on them. Just remember to cancel your "subscribe and save" AFTER you receive them. I'm not sure why Amazon thinks I need a shipment of these every three blades every two months when the first bullet point in the product description says that the three blades will last a year (and typically I get at least 6 months or more PER blade!)

Let's face it, razors keep getting more and more complicated, and none seem to be a jack of all trades. This razor steps in and fills that void. Yes I can get a closer shave with straight or multiblade non electric, but I cannot get the versatility of this one. I am able to use this razor for any body part without worrying about irritation. Still have to be careful in sensitive areas, as you can knick yourself, but as long as you are careful, this is great. I also generally tend not do develop razor burn with this razor, and if I do, it is significantly less than with standard razors.

So far, this product has been great. I especially like the smaller brush. It has been useful for my mustache and hair around my mouth. The larger brush is comfortable to use, the bristles being stiff enough to take the mane but soft enough to be comfortable. I took away one star because there have been a lot of bristles falling out, but I know this is common for a new brush. If this stops in the near future, I'll try to change my rating.

Overall, I would definitely buy this product again, especially as a gift for someone just venturing into the world of beardcare.

Very nice kit although initially the bristles were a little stiff and hard they started to loosen up after using more often. I love this kit and would definitely order again for someone else or if I lose mine.

This is such a good beard care set. The bristles on the brushes are stiff enough to make their way through any beard type you have, yet gentle enough to not cause any discomfort. The wooden comb is small enough to fit into your back pocket for grooming on the go. I highly recommend this set!

It looks very fancy. Brushes are just right: not too soft and not too hard.
Delivery was fast.

Great travel size kit. The comb is perfect for an everyday pocket carry. The brushes are soft and seem very sturdy. Would reccomend. Will be making these a part of my car kit for those drives to work where i need to do some maintenance.

I can't any fault with the brushes or comb. All items are well crafted and portable for traveling. I own a few beard brushes, however, this one has become my favorite.
